Since 1987, pharmacologist Hasan Mukhtar, Ph. D., has presented evidence of green tea as an effective anticarcinogen. He has made experiments demonstrating a link between green tea and the reduction of tumors and cancer causing cells.

According to him, the polyphenols in green tea are the chemo-preventive agent responsible for it's anticancer qualit, one of the benefits of green tea.

The American Journal of Epidemiology reported that a study of 35,369 women linked regular green tea drinking with a lower risk of cancer such as upper digestive tract, colon, and rectum.

In the English study, results have shown that tea can combat tumors of the colon, liver, pancreas, and mammary glands.
