Gingivitis or commonly known as inflammation of the gums is the beginning stage of periodontal disease. This is a serious matter because once the damage is done, it is permanent.

With gingivitis, usually the symptoms are often get taken for granted because it is painless. Gingivitis is caused by bacteria and drinking green tea inhibits the same bacterial plaque that causes dental cavities.

Although green tea is most effective in its earlier stages just like any other conventional methods.
